- Polyester – This is a polymer that replaces horsehair. It’s as tough as nylon, but is noted for it’s ability to recover without whipping or slapping actions. Furthermore, it has an excellent resistance to acids, alkalies, alcohols, and most cleaning solvents.
- Peek – We provide this durable thermoplastic that offers good chemical resistance and is perfect for corrosive and high heat environments. It has a great tensile strength and is a wonderful alternative to Teflon.
- Nylon Type 6.12 – Our business features this amazing nylon option that is ideal for applications calling for low water absorption. This is the highest grade nylon and is typically used for food service bristle brushes.

Industrial Brush Manufactures Using Natural Organic Filaments
TOD Thin Brushes Inc. uses natural organic filaments to create some of our industrial brushes. These filaments do not allow charges to move across their surfaces or through their volume. Charges in these filaments will stay in one spot on an insulative object and, if the insulator is grounded, the charges will not move to the ground. These charges can accumulate, but they are eventually neutralized by the gradual recombination with free ions. Take a look at some of the filaments we use:
